Welcome to our pottery studio, where we offer an unforgettable experience for anyone looking to try their hand at working on a potter's wheel. Our studio is fully equipped with everything you need to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that you can treasure for years to come. If you're a complete beginner our instructors will guide you through the process and help you develop the skills you need to bring your ideas to life.​

If you are an experienced potter or are happy to work independently the wheel can be hired by the hour, with use of equipment. Clay can be purchased by the kilo, we have various clay options and are happy to provide a firing service for clays purchased from the studio.

Our pottery wheel experience begins with a brief introduction to the equipment and materials you'll be using. You'll learn how to prepare the clay, centre it on the wheel, and shape it into a variety of forms. Your instructor will be on hand throughout the session to provide guidance and support, helping you troubleshoot any issues and offering tips and advice to help you improve your technique.

After the session we'll dry and fire your creations to bisque, this takes approximately three weeks.

If you choose you can then paint your masterpieces with our selection of glazes, leave us to glaze and re-fire them and your thrown pots will have a beautiful glazed and shiny finish.
